WARNING TO ALL CELEBRITY COUPLES:  THE PEOPLE EN ESPAÑOL COVER IS JINXED!

Using the Sara Palin Scientific Method (If I say it then it’s historically accurate),

we have noticed a recurring incidence in Latino celebrity relationships: couples that grace the cover of People en Español proclaiming that they are happily in love can expect to be on the same cover soon after proclaiming how they will survive.

We have tracked this trend in recent years (yes, reading People en Español at work is work), and it has jumped to our attention by the lightning speed (and I’m almost positive record-setting pace) of William Levy and Elizabeth Gutiérrez.

And here are some of the other high profile examples:

Just as a precaution we ask the following celebrity couples to think about it, because to us, they appear to be happily together:

Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony (c’mon if that’s not blind love)

Juanes and Karen Martinez (look like normal couple)

Daddy Yankee and Wife (yup, Daddy Yankee is apparently a good daddy)

Gloria Estefan and Emilio Estefan (we couldn’t bear the campaign for next Latino royalty couple)
