CP Pulso: What We’re Talking About This Week (8.31.12)

We’re constantly on the pulse of what’s caliente in business, technology, culture, and trends. Here are the links that got our hearts racing this week.

Week ending August 31st, 2012

The end of an era

The Jersey Shore has officially been cancelled.  That’s right folks. Say goodbye to the Snooki ‘poof’, to The Situation and all his grenades, and the endless bickering between Ronnie and Sammi. Season 6 will be its last, but I know for a fact that we won’t soon forget everything that happened at the Shore.  –Michelle

Old Spice’s New Campaign

Check out the interactive video featuring Terry Crew to play some “Muscle Music.” Neat idea, but I can’t help but feel like this has been  done before.  – Dennis

Remembering MLK

This past Tue, Aug. 28th marks 49 years since Martin Luther King Jr. delivered his famous speech. What do you think he’d say about President Obama’s run for a 2nd term as America’s only black President?

RNC Ratings Slump

Moving forward to current political events, viewership for the #GOP2012 convention on Wednesday was 41% less than the 37.2m who tuned in 4 years ago with Sarah Palin.  –Pavel
