Inspire others with quotes
I am really interested in quotes. I love reading them and finding some that relate to me. In Anaheim were I live, there is a company called Ganahl Lumber Company that always puts different quotes on their business sign in the front and anyone that passes down the street can read them. Try not reading them, (if you are the one driving, that won’t be good). One quote that I liked from there was this one that said, “Knowledge talks wisdom listens.”
When I pass down that street, I always check which one they decided to put up that week. I like when I read ones that I have never heard or seen before and somehow I can relate to it. It just makes my day brighter and I keep going on with my day thinking of that quote. When I first noticed the clever sign, I thought they changed it depending on the company but then I noticed, no these quotes relate to people. I can either ignore it or use it as motivation, and that’s what I end up doing.
I also like going online and just reading quotes in my free time. When I’m upset, in the mood or when I just need to find something that will turn the clouds into a sunny sun. People always have something that helps them go through their day and mine is reading quotes. I found this website online that has all kinds of quotes, and if I had the time I would just read through all of them.
Sometimes I even put quotes that I can relate to on my pictures. I love putting quotes on family pictures and of me with my boyfriend since they mean the most to me. I can say that even though my mom wouldn’t read quotes to us, her words about life seem like quotes to me that I cherish and will always hold through life. I can say reading quotes from famous authors has made me see the world a bit different, and have made me understand things more clearly.
When friends or people I know talk about how life is not good, or they can’t find their other half, I refer them to a quote. How they have to think positively in life and yeah things can be hard but everything has a solution. Then for love, we just have to let things come on their own. If we can’t find them now there are still a lot of years left to find your match. Here are some quotes that speak to me and that I find really interesting.
“You’ve gotta dance like there’s nobody watching,
Love like you’ll never be hurt,
Sing like there’s nobody listening,
And live like it’s heaven on earth.”
― William W. Purkey
“We’re all a little weird. And life is a little weird. And when we find someone whose weirdness is compatible with ours, we join up with them and fall into mutually satisfying weirdness—and call it love—true love.”
― Robert Fulghum, True Love
