New TLC show, Abby and Brittany
The show “Abby and Brittany” premiered last week on TLC about the daily life of a pair of conjoined twins. While you may find it a little difficult to watch, its incredibly fascinating. In many ways, these girls live a normal life. They go to college, they work, they go on vacation, they go shopping. They have adapted to their situation in a really amazing way and they have a certain spark to their personality that makes them really fun to watch. They answer a lot of questions about themselves and their body- there are still some questions I don’t know the answers to (mostly around the dating/boys arena), but either way, I still find them to be really inspirational and a great example of positivity in spite of adversity. –Michelle
How Bill Clinton Can Help You Become A Better Presenter
The big news of the week is the Democratic National Convention (DNC), where Democrats have been making the case for reelecting President Obama. Bill Clinton’s speech on Wednesday night has garnered a lot of attention, and for good reason: regardless of where you lie on the political spectrum, there’s a lot we can all learn from Clinton as a public speaker. – Dennis
It’s an election year and in the next 60 days Americans will chose the leader of the country. That’s why you should check out www.isidewith.com, a website created to help you decide who is the candidate that aligns more with your values and beliefs. It’s an easy questionnaire that will take you a few minutes. - Pavel
